Would something similar to the Eglu Go by Omlet or Snaplock by Formex be okay for bobwhite quail?

Thinking of doing a 12ft long, by 8ft wide, and 6ft tall run and just placing the coop in it. Then putting some fallen logs and other stuff in there for them to play and hide in.

From what I've seen of them, you will need to put 1/2" hardware cloth all around the run. The gaps are rather large and the quail might get out, and predators will definitely get in or reach through to grab quail.

I can't remember, do they have ramps? Quail are ground birds, so they may or may not use ramps. If they can be set up on the ground, that would work best for them.

Edit: If you're going to build the run, you may as well forget paying for the expensive coop and just cover one end of the run to keep it free of wind, rain and sun, and put in small shelters. That will make the quail quite happy.
