My understanding is that in the UK they have tails, but in the U.S. they are supposed to be rumpless. A tailed Araucana with no tufts basically seems like an Ameruacana to me. LOL I have two Araucana hybrids. One is rumpless and the second has a few tiny tail feathers that usually break off. Neither has tufts, which is fine with me since I don't like them. I'm mainly interested in egg color. They are going on 24 weeks, so I'm expecting some laying activity from them after the first of the year!
