This morning I have 3 piping. And the one from last night has not made it any futhur along. I am waiting!! Temp is at 99.0 and humidityis at 71 % Am I still o.k. ?????

Breathe in, now breathe out, now, back away from the bator. You're fine, your chicks are fine. Take a walk, do some of the chores that you've let go since the hatch began. A watched bator never boils. I still have 10 eggs in the bator and one hatching now. I'm going for a walk, in the rain...I will NOT go back to the bator for at least 3 hrs...

O.K. better than a walk my 7 yr. old son is in a baseball tournament again today and I will be leaving at around 10:30 and will not be back until about 8:00 tonight. Surely by then one of them will be out. 6 of these are my swap eggs but no pips from them yet. I have 16 out of 18 developing and those 2 were clear. So I could have a very good hatch rate if they all make it.

This morning on day 23 !!!! I have 5 babies out and 2 more piping !!! They are taking their sweet time about gatting here. But worth hte wait. I will take pictures when I can open up the bator. They are not all dry yet !!!!

My walk lasted about 15 minutes..hey, it was raining. Today's report is....TA DA!! 11 chicks out of 21 eggs!! My best hatch ever..This is day 23, so there's still a chance. I had to get the rest of the chicks out of the bator, but I covered the eggs with a warm wet towel first, so I think they weren't damaged in that move. And I left the towel on them until the humidity got back to 70. Anyway, I'm a tired but happy mom.

Well I have 6 out and dry 1 died after piping the shell and 4 still trying to get out. Out od 16 eggs so far. I think that is pretty good. So what does hubby come home with today???? 15 red star sex links that one of his service call clients GAVE him !!! They are 3 days old !!!! babies Babies everywhere what a good day!!!!
