In the Brooder
I did not draw lines of the air sacs but, I did weight the eggs in the beginning, day 8, 14, and 18 and they all lost the appropriate amount (15%) a couple lost a little more (17%)

2 were fully developed and 2 stopped growing maybe around day 12-14 from the looks. The other 4 weren't even fertilized but, I have brown egg layers that are hard to see when candling. I am running a 24 hour test with a added temp/humid sensor to see what happens. I think them temp was running a little high also. Around 101Ok. What makes you think humidity was the issue then? What did you find with eggtopsy?
How long will a fertilized egg survive in cold weather without heat?In 2 hours I will be on day 21. I have none hatched yet. I have one that I dropped and cracked on day 17. I put scotch tape over the pretty big crack I saw movement right before lockdown. I didn't remove the tape prior to lockdown. The crack wasn't over the air cell so I though it would be ok. Yesterday around 1pm I heard peeping from this same egg. I just heard peeping 2hrs ago but no pips yet. I have 9 eggs total in the bator (brinsea Eco) this is the only one I hear peeps from. My question is how long after I hear peeps should they externally pip? We are over 24 hours now.
As long as it doesn't freeze and the shell doesn't crack it should be okHow long will a fertilized egg survive in cold weather without heat?
I have hatched 4 or 5 times. I monitored very closely. When pips start becoming weak and not hatching after about 12 hours I help hatch egg. So far most of weak ones make it. Good luck. I am learning too
