On day 22 (Sat.) and NOTHING...how long should I wait?

Oh, soooooo sorrrry mstricer!!!!

Well, I ment sorry forgot to answer in the post before. lol Not sorry bout my JG's! I love the Gentle quiet Giants!!!!! I am gonna handle them ALOT!!!!! They are definately think im mom. lol

So Sad!!!! 1 just out had cord or something around his neck! Head was stuck down by wing. A MIRACLE he made it out of shell. I dunno how he zipped and broke out! Don't yell at me!!! I had to open the bator. I took it into a hot 100 degree bathroom full of steam from shower and small room heater. Opened removed shells and removed cord thingy from around his neck. he is jumping and moving around alot. He still hasn't opened his eyes. I pray he gets better!!!!! I put him into a tub so the others would not keep stepping on him. IF he gets better I may remove him. if he dont find his own way out. The side is low enough he can jump out if he gets up to it! (I hope he does!) still 2 not pipped yet.

but not giving up hope till tuesday! Then I have to clean out for next batch. 6 more JG on Tuesday. Then 10 RIR on Sat. then 6 more JG's on the 24 and 6 JG on 3/4/10..... PLus 8 More JG eggs in mail now +++++=17 JG chicks Will be here this week from IDEAL!!!!! WOW!!!!!! that alot now that I look at it! LOL too latenow! Im commited....or atleast MY DW wants me to be! hahahahaha OOOpppsss Another hatch!!!!! 7 out now Yeah!!!!! still 2 look like a nogo.

This is them as of 1800. BUT now its up to 11 out and 3 zipped and ready to make the final push. 2 still nothin.

But this aint over yet! They have till Tuesday. Then I have to get ready for the next set. I cant get vid to upload. but I will kee trying. I'll keep ya posted!

P.s The one in the cup is the 1 that had his umbilical or something stuck over his neck. It was keeping his head down by his wing. I removed it. An hour later he jumped out of the tub and is a lively as the rest now! LOL I was worried for nothin I guess.

at least you are all so lucky to have chicks hatch, but i am sad because i got 1 egg just blow up and i have to get rid of the rest. i can cry

Hope I never do! You cant wipe them with a warm damp towel? or nothin? I don' know. That is so terrible! I am so so so so SORRY!

yes, i sure did, just call the owner that sell me the eggs, he is going to replace the eggs for me with no charge. he told me just go ahead to get rid all the eggs. And he's going to shipped the eggs next week.

Funny how much we worry yet everything always seems to turn out how it's suppose to. Good job on your hatch

Cute chicks to btw

Well, here's 5 of my 6 hatched (the 6th one is still in the bator, a little too wet to take out yet) I still have 1 egg left to do something...ANYTHING, so I'll give it a few more days then time to clean up

After the emotional roller coaster I went through with these little guys, if I end up with 6 hatched out of 7 originally set I'll be a very happy chicken mama

Congrats to the ones with hatching chicks.

I wanted to say that I have had chicks hatch on Day 26 so I don't give up hope. Especially if you've had low temps for whatever reason, have lost power, things like that.

I also candle every single egg before I decide they're no longer viable. Then I decide what to do with them.
