I think your egg is developing slower because of the lower temperature of your body compared to a chickens. I'm not sure what that'll mean in the long run. If it's still kicking, then you're ok for now.
I change the tissue paper it's wrapped in once a day, and take a quick peek then. Other than that it's left alone except for turnings.Leave the egg to it's own just as much as possible
Oh, I'm sorry for your lossI have only had an egg in my bra on hatching day when power went out and the eggs were already pipped. Only one hatched, the second one died. It was hard to maintain temp and humidity. I put on my winter coat and hat and layers to make me sweat and I sat in the car with top temperature blasting. It was hard. I can’t imagine doing this from day one. I would worry about breaking the eggs.
