On day 3 of trying to hatch an egg in my boobs

There is a guy who completed the late hatching of a single duck egg using a heating pad, and he'd take the egg to work with him, keeping it warm in his pants. It was a popular thread and a successful hatch.

I'm curious, why rice socks? They'll hold heat, yes, but rice absorbs moisture from the environment, and is used as a desiccant (like in salt shakers), so it seems like it will do the opposite of what you want.

I'm hoping it being soaked in water before warming will negate that, but I could try to use something else instead?

Unfortunately I believe directly misting my boobs would lower temperature, though I'm willing to suffer through soggy boobs for the sake of this baby LMAO

I just...don't roll over. Lmao. I sleep on my back or sometimes my side, very carefully of course.

As far as malpositions etc and poking holes in the eggs if there is a problem this is a great article on assisting that explains how to safely assist if needed. I hope you won't need to assist and the baby hatches just fine on its own though!

Baby is still mobile, though not kicking as much as before. He's pressed up against the air cell end of the egg. About one finger width of the narrow end of the egg still appears empty. Lockdown begins tomorrow night. I'm nervous.
