On day 3 of trying to hatch an egg in my boobs

Pics
My broody hen has 4 eggs under her...only 2 are developing :/

Now for boobeggs!
Chicken egg, day 14: ALIVE AND WELL
Coturnix eggs, day 5: 8 developing, 1 probably developing
Button quail eggs, day 5: 3 developing, 1 possibly developing, 2 empty.

This is shaping up to be a good hatch!

Last time out of 10 coturnix eggs only 6 were fertile, one exploded early on and 3 quit early as well; of the 3 that made it to term 2 had infected yolks. So I went to a different breeder this time around. Pricier and in a different city but soooo worth it. Every coturnix egg and most of the button eggs look fertile and none appears to have quit as of yet.

That is good news!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Haven't dropped it yet! There's a darker spot underneath the shell which I am assuming is the yolk... nothing else has developed yet.
But it's intact! Yay!

Yay, no dropped eggies!

I had a button quail egg go pop in my bra yesterday. Literally. Oh, the smell LOL! Also removed two infertile button eggs, and am down to three buttons that are developing well so far! We also have wiggly coturnix babies and the chicken is doing well too!

Took a shower last night. No one else who had breasts would have been willing to sit with it in there, I don't think, so I took the little pouch that the egg is in and tied the drawstring around the pipe just behind the shower head. There was nice, hot water running to it (I never take cold showers), so the pipe and the shower head that it was resting against were nice and warm.
Despite the fact that the shower head was a bit above my head and it was thus a pain to tie the string, I managed to not drop the egg! Yay!
This has been on of the strangest thing that I have ever done, I think... not that I mind -- one of my profile tags reads "nutters," after all.

That's an awesome idea! I should have thought of that lol. I've been wrapping them in clothes and hoping for the best.

Now that I have my bator back though I can put them in it while I shower to keep them nice and warm!

Great! I wouldn't leave the egg like that for long periods, of course -- I took about an hour in the shower -- but it should work whilst one is tending to one's hygiene....

One coturnix egg seems to have quit :( the others are all kicking and moving super hard, one or two are HUGE in the egg lol! The buttons also are doing great. And the chicken... I confess I have no actual idea what day we're on, but it has to be close to lockdown. Will I hurt it if I stop turning it?
