The bird looks wet to me. I see nothing on either of them that indicates male.I would like to see FULL side profile of the red bird. If I was to question gender on either of these, it would be the red one. Am I seeing pointed saddles and hackles?

They're not mine. So I'm not sure about all that. I found them on a Facebook thread and would-be sworn they were roosters. I see now they are hens. I was just curious about it. I don't personally know the owner or the chickens.How old are they, and more importantly why is the wing from the red one covering the white it both pictures? That looks posed, I would guess for a reason. I would ask for full, free standing, individual photos of each bird if you're really interested.
Woah. I'm leaning a ton today in this community. I would be bet my life those were roosters if I didn't know better. One thing is for darn sure- those ladies are some real beauties. Holy cow...
