On PBS this week. An Original Duckumentary

Did anyone notice that they showed a male mallard doing a female quack? It was at the part when they were talking about mallards quacking. The male was moving his mouth and they dubbed a female's quack into it.

I watched this duckumentary tonight and really enjoyed it! The wood ducks they followed were so beautiful. As some people mentioned, it would have been even better if they'd talked about domestic ducks. But for what it was, I thought it was very interesting, and it showed a lot of ducks I didn't even know existed!

My indoor duck sat on the bed and watched it with me. Although she was generally more interested in trying to pull her diaper off, she did seem quite fascinated by the scenes of ducks splashing around in the water.

I noticed the same thing.Must not know the difference between male and female quacks. But enjoyed the show.I DVR it so i can watch it any time.

Did you all see them swimming ducks that was amazing!Oh the wood ducks i feel in love with, the most beauiful ducks i've ever seen. What about them ducks that lived and swam in the river on that fast moving current just awesome!!!!! I really enjoyed it a lot!!

Many of us on here own Wood Ducks (all migratory ducks require permits) as well as mandarin ducks keeping them in aviaries. They are a ton of fun to have and watch, but they are never tame, wont come for treats, and if not kept in a secure aviary will fly away or be killed by predators.

They are beautiful. I hope to own a few one day but I have to construct the perfect setup for them to be safe and comfortable. Are the permits expensive?

varies from state to state. Best to contact your Fish and Game or DNR or who ever handles permitting (hunting fishing) as it is usually the same ones handling the permits for migratory birds.

Me and my family would be very happy if someone will be so kind to upload this movie. I cannot play it on the channel's link and they will not ship the dvd either to my country. The one upload on is0hunt is fake. Please.
