On the mend, but still questions: UPDATE, 20 week old banty wormy as heck,

Have you been giving her the Corid? That might have been what was making her feel better rather then the antibiotics. Pulling for her.
I did give her the corid about 14 days or so ago. She had many many live and dead worms in her droppings - the second dose to deal with worm egg/larva was due a few days ago. Corid was so hard on her system, as seen by her lethargy after the dose the next day, that I delayed the second dose to deal with any hatching eggs.

I am guessing there are some underlying issues at work here, that let the worms and bacteria get out of control, that are causing her decline.

Corid is not a wormer. I thought you gave her the wormer at first?

oh shoot, I'm just stressed and getting mixed up.

Yes, I gave her the wormer about 14 days ago. Friday I started her on Corid duramycin, and continuously since then in the water.

I have to admit that I have an unreasonable hope that she will have eaten a lot by the time I get home tonight, and have a full crop.
but, given her pickiness, I am doubtful. wish I had had a banty or chick to keep her company, as that is the only think I think I could have done to make it go better for her.

edited to correct the misinformation!

Rollercoaster Alert: I got home and mrs murphy seemed so alert. to my utter surprise, her crop was bulging. it is fuller than it has been in two weeks. she obviously was eating today and her droppings were plentiful and even getting closer to a mud color versus the broccoli green.

I am shocked and hopeful, once again. this is too much up and down for me, but it is still good news.

She had some dirty feathers, so I gave her another epsom salt warm soak. This time she seemed a bit stronger, and I did a more thorough inspection of her chest and belly area, I noticed she has a crooked keel.

After the bath, I let her walk around a bit, and she is less wobbly. She noticed her reflection in glass cabinets which was kind of funny. didn't peck but turned her head this way and that. After a few minutes she just stood still, so I put her near her kennel, and sure enough, she wanted in the kennel.

I have never ever had an ailing chicken this long, but forward progress means I'll still do what I can to help her improve. I know there is still a good possibility that she won't make it, but....
