I need to fine a home for my Black, free-as-bird rooster. He is mix EE/Australorp.

He was small when I felt home to help with Hurricane Harvey. Came back on the second week of December to see him grown but was told he was a she cause he never crowed. Sadly, had to give the people who help me took care of my flock, the information that she is actually a he.

Anyway, I have too many Roos and he's constantly being chased by my original EE Teddy, his daddy, and Franklin, his brother, whose pure EE. Don't want him chased into the woods. He's free to whomever wants him. I don't know how this works, it's my first time looking for someone whose willing to accept him. If, I'm doing this writing no let me know.

I'm located in Onalaska, Texas. Between Huntsville and Livingston. Will give better directions if interested.

Thanks for your consideration and reading this.

Roosters never get the respect they need.. Average person never can understand the place of a rooster, but this doesn't seem to be your issue. Sorry you have to rehome this pretty bird! Good Luck! It can be a hard task, I know have been in that spot also..

Thank you. A neighbor had wanted to restart their flock. They know what I have but seems to want him plus an Australorp hen that I'm willing to give so that they can slowly start and at no charge. Then, they became sketchy on their answer and finally the wife told me she actually wanted hamsters. I wish them the best. I do understand how hard it is and I'm also hoping for the best.
