I know exactly how you feel. My back porch is loaded with shoes
. We wash them once a week though.
I bought a cheap pair of crocs and BOOM!! the next thing I knew I had to go and shut the door in my good shoes on.
Uh yeah...my "one pair" of barn shoes had multiplied...and now I have no GOOD shoes...we ahvea pile outside the door that aren't allowed in the house, and end up scrabbling around looking for soemthing we can actually wear in the car!
Oh...and I did forget to photograph the huge turkey poo on the hood of my minivan...along with the scratches she left behind !

I snitched Hubby's boot scraper from his BigTruck. Nailed it to a plank, and keep it next to the door. After scraping most of the "junk" off my shoes at the bottom of the porch steps, I give my shoes a final scrape on it as I come in the door. Works pretty good most of the time.
Thanks for the major laugh!!! I caught our chickens hopping up on my DH's car, probably so they can get a better view of me doing the Super Pooper Shuffle: that odd foot-dragging walk, trying to dislodge "stuff" from my shoes...I'm thinking of changing my name to Winnie the Poo!
Yes, I think it's time for an official boot scraper!
