One chick doesn't look good

I got my chicks today... 31 of them. I've got one little peeper here who was laying on the bottom of the box when they arrived, getting stepped on. Her eyes are closed and she seems pretty weak. She's peeping but not like the others... Any advice on what to do? I've separated her from the others for the time being (have her with me) so that she doesn't get stepped on...

Sounds like you are doing the best you can, if you have vitamins to put in the water you can do a beak dip to get it to drink, but it may have some other problem or just been a runt. Good luck.

She drank a bit and is the same size as the other chicks (that are the same breed)... She's snuggled up in a towel on my lap at the moment.

It's very hard to lose a chicken, especially a chick. But don't worry. You did the best you can, and I'm sure she's very proud of you. :aww
