I have 36 chicks, all different breeds. All 2 weeks old today. I have one little partridge Cochin that has not grown at all. It still looks like it is a day old.our blue Cochin and even our bantam cochins that are the same age look huge next to her. She sleeps a lot but does get up to eat and drink. She doesnt seem weak but acts like a day old. I hand feed her everyday for additional nutrition. She was sleeping alone closer to the light but She just started sleeping with the others in the past two days. She poops normally but is just very small. The others don't bother her so its not a matter of being picked on. The only thing I did notice is a very small scab on her navel. Do you think she will ever grow?

Sounds like you may have a runt. They're just smaller than the rest of the flock and always a little behind, I suppose.
Although some chicks just do start off slowly, and will catch up later on. :)

I received 28 chickens from a hatchery on April 20, and 2 of them were silver laced polish, one of them did the same thing, she was getting a few feathers but did not seem to be growing. This morning she passed, I suspected cocci, but saw no other signs beyond the stunted growth. She acted fine, eating and drinking. Good luck, I wish I could be more help.

I got these from Meyer. I know with their blue cochins they get them from a breeder and not. Hatched on site. I wonder if they get the partridges from somewhere else too.

update- she has finally caought up to her sisters. She is not as fluffy but is about the same size :)
