Greetings… So I just moved back to North Carolina and started up a new flock. Got them as day old chicks from the local feed store. They are about eight week old Wyandots…
Just lost one that has blood inside of its mouth on top of beak area and second Wyandotte is looking lethargic and not interested in eating. It is not hot there water is changed daily they have a natural wooded area as their run that is fenced off no sign of attack

Just not sure what to start the chickens on. I have time to get to the feed store before they close.

I’m guessing I should isolate the lethargic one although she’s already been around the other chickens. And whatever I start her on should I give it to the rest of the flock? Many thanks for any input.

I haven’t used the site in a long time. Not sure how to go back and edit… Not sure why “hatching” came up in the of thread top either

The chicks have been feeding on medicated start and grow just FYI

Did the others peck her? Is that why she's bloody? Other then that I have no idea I hope you can get some help! Can you help @Eggcessive?
I think it was something bacterial related seeing as there was a very good response to antibiotics. I gave her a bit of water a few times through the night and noticed considerable improvement throughout the day. She has started eating & drinking on her own also. Treated the flock & none of the others are showing any symptoms
Thank you
Just not sure how long I should quarantine her…
