One chicken with tail down and one tail up?

I have a lavender orpington and a blue australorp that are both 8.5 weeks old. The Australorp always seems to have her tail lower than the lavender orpington (see photo of them standing beside each other). I have never had these breeds before - do both pullets look like yours? Also, confirming they are....girls? Thanks!

They both look like pullets. Sometimes as the tail feathers grow in they can be a bit wonky. Also not all have the correct Orpington structure when it comes to the tail, which should turn down. If may straighten out or stay more erect depending on the breeding.
