I’m so sorry, you did all you could.

I do have a question. What can I do for her brother and the other baby. Are they going to get sick too? She was the only sick one in 6 others when we looked at them. I have her brother and he isn’t showing any symptoms of sickness. Palmer, the Pomeranian, just pooped and it was brownish green and semi liquid but like normal goose and duck poop, no bubbles. They are eating and drinking and her brother is pooping solids. They are walking fine besides when they get going and almost run into things.

If there aren’t signs of sickness I wouldn’t do anything different than you are.

Considering just the one was sick it could have been something internally wrong, sometimes that happens unfortunately, or an isolated illness she caught because something wasn’t right with her, like if she was born with a poor immune system unlike the others.

At least she was with me and died while I held her and stroked her. At least she felt loved. First my eldest and most loved hen died of sour crop in November, then my dog who I raised from day one died of stitching coming undone from intestinal blockage in March this year, and now I lost the little bird who tried so hard to stay alive. I absolutely love this year!

We just lost one of our very first goats tonight. He was such a sweet boy and only 11 months old. Sounds like we're both having a rough time! I'm sorry!

Oh! I am so sorry. No matter how many you lose or how long you have had them it never gets any better.

It’s definitly been a rough for year me too, lost three ducks last summer, and my gander’s been off and on sick since this time last year, it seems times are rough for a lot of us. Hopefully whatever’s going on soon passes and the good times come to all of us again.
