One hen always has cloudy eggs

Definitely start providing oystershell for the thin shells, if you aren't already. Don't put it in their feed, just put it in a dish and let them pick it.
If she keeps up with the cloudy eggs, and you're pretty sure it's the same hen every time, she may just have something mildly wrong in her egg factory. I wouldn't incubate the cloudy eggs, but it's not a sign for concern if one hen has always laid funky eggs.

I’m honestly not sure. I get cloudy ones occasionally. Just something that happens on the trip thru their system?
@casportpony had a diagram of egg and shell formation, I believe?

Are you feeding layer feed? Even with layer feed, some hens need more calcium for stronger shells, I’d suggest a side dish of oyster shell. Ones that need it will usually eat it on their own.
Hello, thanks so much for the reply! I actually feed two kinds of feed one is a layer organic mini pellet and the other is a grower from scratch and peck. When Broody,s start bringing their chicks into the flock, I pull the layer feed and only feed the grower ( little ones also have access to starter) Hens have oyster shell available at all times and they do eat it.

Just for curiosity, I wonder if changing feed would make any difference. According to that production pic, the whites consist of the albumen, sodium, magnesium, and calcium. I wonder if something with different levels of those things would make a difference. Odd that it’s only one hen though.

I believe i found the one I was thinking about

Thank for all the input! I just don’t know, when everyone else has a normal egg (8 hens) . That chart is awesome!
