One hen not doing so well

I use a mixture of strained baby food, the overpriced babyfood that comes in jars, raw egg or yogurt, plus any meds I need to give. A mix that about the thickness of a milkshake becoming warm. I try for a high protein formula, but you can use unsweetened applesauce or strained carrots, for in between feedings.

That reminds me to add, be sure the mixture is warm or room temp, not chilled, so it's not a shock to her system.

For a small chicken, like a ten-week old chick, a fourth of a cup at a time, wait an hour, and do another feeding. For a standard size chicken, a half a cup at a time, but no more than six ounces. Feed twice a day.

To be safe, feel the crop as you feed. Do not exceed her normal capacity.

Got it. I’m going to attempt now. Here is a picture oh today
