He's a cross. The pea comb probably indicates Easter egger crossed with some barred breed, maybe barred rock.

I know for sure he’s something crossed with a dixie rainbow. I was also thinking Easter egged or Americana. I have both of those breeds, so both are a possibility.

I know right! I love his colors a lot. When he was younger he was really dull orange, but within the last week his colors popped to life. .

I have a little "blonde" OEGB. For the longest time, we couldn't figure out just what he was, color-wise, but all of a sudden he got red freckles, now, at four months, he gets redder and redder each week. Turns out, he's a Red Pyle - and he's coming into some REALLY pretty coloring. Too bad I can't keep him. I don't have any OEGB ladies for him, and no place to put them, if I did. But he sure is gonna be pretty. {{{Sigh}}}
