One of my baby roosters has a hole in it’s foot.

I’ve noticed a hole in the webbing of their foot. They can walk and run like normal, but what could’ve caused this? He might have got hurt outside or it may have been another chick.

Either an injury or if he came from a breeder possibly toe punched for identification.

I agree with @sourland that it looks like the hole-punch breeders make to identify chicks
