One of my bantams laid a blue egg!

Hi all!

I'm so excited to announce that one of my bantams laid her first egg! And it's bluish/green. I don't know what kind of bantam she is because my friend gave her to me as a chick and he didn't know what they were. Can anyone identify what she is?

Yes. She was the only one going in and out the past 15 minutes. Then I showed up and there it is,. My other bantam is letting white eggs. And none of my other breeds are EE's. (Polish, welsummer, silkie, cuckoo marans, barred rock, silver laced barnevelder, golden laced wyandotte, and a game hen.)

That's my thought exactly. I thought it might have been a RIR or comet bantam.

She kind of looks big to be a bantam. Congrats on the egg! I wish my EE bantam would hurry up and lay!

She looks very similar to my Starlight Green eggers from Hoovers.
