Previously I thought I had heard some faint whistling coming from the coop, and last night confirmed that, yes, I do have a chicken that snores.
After being out of town all day and then picking up my daughter from a church social I got home well after dark and the chickens were on the roost and the eggs had not been gathered. I got the flashlight and went inside to get the eggs (6 of them) and, sure enough one of them snores- a faint whistling every breath.
Who would have thought?
This is such an amusing fun adventure!
