I just did a bit of research on Jersey giants and I hope Lavon is a JG. They are absolutely beautiful!!!!

An Australorp would have white skin on the soles of his feet while a Jersey Giant would have yellow skin.

I have a pair of BA cockerels (actually 3) I have now named gomez and fester because fester stands like that too all fatty no neck. Now today is thier 2 month bday and they look fine normal but are MUCH larger than the 3 pullets. The third one I have I thought was maybe a jersey giant or just maybe he has some crazy hormones because he has a HUGE waddle on one side only.

Also just remembered the one who is HUGE and has the lopsided waddle sizes like ones an inch long as the other 1/4 -1/2 took like twice as long to get his feathers in.
