One of my hens eyes is messed up

I’m curious if anybody has ever seen something like this? My RIR hens eye changed and no longer has the pupil. It looks like the iris just shrunk in on itself. There were no injuries to the eye, nor any weeping or discharge. The other eye is normal and I can tell she can’t see out of the one side because she’s always looking with the normal eye. She has also stopped laying eggs, which is disappointing because she was such a good layer.

What she vaccinated against Marek's? That looks very much like ocular Marek's.

I’m almost certain she was not vaccinated for Marek’s. I adopted this hen about two years ago from somebody moving. I actually thought I was somewhat educated about the disease, but I did not realize it could present in the eyes.

Thank you for the link to the article, I’m doing my reading now. I’ve had one other young bird present with the classic neurologic symptoms many years ago and dispatched it early, but because of that I’ve been fully aware that any of my birds are carriers.
