One of my hens is a mean rooster!

The hens are older, we got them already laying. The rooster (that we thought was a hen) was only 2 mo old I think? I think her comb looks bigger because of all the blood and missing feathers. She is definitely a hen though, shes in the nesting box right now

She's a really pretty color--do you have a picture of all of her for me to admire?

I think it just looks bigger because of all the blood and missing feathers. I didn't see him do it, but only guessing.. because I saw him chasing her earlier and her running away really fast

I had a mean rooster named Henry VIII II. One day he spurred me, and I turned around and gave him a quick whack with my broom— I hit his comb and he instantly started bleeding. It was so much blood, I grabbed him up and ran into the house CRYING & HYSTERICAL. So I clean him up real quick, still crying and shaking & feeling generally terrible, and it turns out he’s got this one, little tiny nick on his comb. The moral of the story is not to flip out until everything’s nice and clean, because if you do you’ll look like a fool over every small detail.

Sounds like you are doing great with the hen, she should heal nicely. Also sounds like it's time for rooster jail! Put the cockerel in a wire dog cage, in the run, with food and water, so that the ladies can get out of the coop. He should calm down with age

Hmm.. how did you know that I'm a freak outer!?

It sounds like he's inexperienced, and is still a little rough. Your hen should heal up nicely, and given time, your rooster should be able to do better. If his spurs, and toenails are sharp, use a file to blunt them down a little. This helps prevent him from accidentally cutting their backs, while he's learning.
