One of my new chicks has dhiarrea with blood in it!!!

what can i do to help him? it was all matted down on his butt when they finally came in this morning from the post office and i washed it off but now hes got bloody dhiarrea

sounds like coccidiosis
use medicated chick starter or give them Amprolium.

Medicated chick starter has Amprolium in it(read the label on the bag). feed them that or call your local feed stores like TSC. farm supply places carry it. It's used in calves often
If that doesn't work use google to find some.

Its a single celled parasite that damages the intestine when there is a large infestation of it. It is spread in feces. They become immune to when they are older. It is species specific so you you won't get it.

amporilium is sold under the name of corid. Take a look at the poop pictures, I will get you the link to see if it looks like what you are seeing.
