One of my roosters makes a weird sound after crowing

lots of roos do that! don't worry he looks perfectly healthy

Mine do it too! I think it is really funny....it is because when they crow they literally use up all of the air in their lungs, so they have to inhale sharply after a crow. And it makes that little noise.

After he crows (I think it is when he breaths in) he makes a sound almost like if he has a sore/clogged throat, I have search for video of a rooster that made the same sound and found this video, (listen carefully after the crow) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEZUY_iDGZ0#t=10s

Does
anyone know what it might be?

Im not quite sure but after viewing your video and finding out that we have the same breed of rooster and they both sound the same when crowing I can't help but to think maybe normal for this breed.

We have a little old English bantom rooster
He's pretty funny. He does his mating dance and he's so small and his wings are so long he almost trips on his wings. Steps on them too

He makes this weird moaning sound after he crows I didn't know why he does it so I googled it. Doesn't sound raspy or like he has a sore throat. Its just a weird moaning noise.

My dad named him kid charlemagne.

He's the only rooster we have. He's the leader of the other bantoms and a olive egger who is really close with one of the bantoms so we let her stay in the bantom coop even though she isn't a bantom. The bantoms are bleep the black silkie, beebo the penciled chicken, josey the old English bantom hen and amber the olive egger. Amber and bleep are really good friends.
