One rescue chicken

Chickens are amazing creatures and surprisingly easy to grow fond off. I'm busy introducing some friends of ours and their 2 children to the joys of chicken keeping at the moment. We have 4 new chicks from a broody hen hatch and 10 more eggs "cooking" for them. They are getting hooked very quickly!

How cool is that. We talked about getting chicks , just haven't done it due to I just had hip surgery today. Don't worry, when we do you will be my number one resource for help!!! Thanks again for all your help with Becky
