Going back and reading my post I might have misrepresented my intentions. Either way I don't have a coyote licking it's chops over my birds! I meant I wasn't trying to drop it in it's tracks. I said it wouldn't be back. Is that not predicting a impending doom?. I also said if it did come back I would show no mercy, not that I was trying to be merciful. As far as natures clean up crew, they sure made a disgusting mess of my roof and balcony decking. If you think chicken poo is something, try mounds of vulture crap. You can see it all over the back of the pretty little buzzard.

What killed the deer so close to your house that you were able to watch the buzzards be on it in "minutes"?

The buzzards you were shooting are federally and state protected. You can be fined $10,000 plus a year in jail for everyone of those birds you shot. Not something you should be posting on the internet, especially over a matter of bird poop.

I have hunters continually trying to poach from the 50 or 60 deer living here! As this is the nature sanctuary that I have created with my own two hands. Several dear have been shot elsewhere and made the trek back to there sanctuary (here). If there is a health issue caused by scavengers to my family watch out! Mange or no mange you are not welcome here if you present a problem for my sanctuary-my home. You talk of bird poop as if you like it, and the damage to your home ,you like it, not me! Finnished !!!!!!!

I thought I was finished!!!! I think not, evidently there are those of you that have double standards in that it's okay for you to shoot vermin when it's after your flock, pets or family. MY sanctuary does not have room for any unwelcome visitors, two legged or four legged. We have deer, fox, possums, raccoons, coyotes, red tailed hawks, great horned owls, screech owls, pheasant, snipe, quail, ground hogs, red squirrels, grey squirrels, chipmunks, cooper's hawks, rabbits, bobcats, eagles, turkeys, skunks, 80 or so other varieties of birds, box turtles, frogs, toads, snakes, fish, an occasional bear and once a wolf! They are all safe from my sights until they cross the line from welcome to not welcome. I've posted my avatar so you know who your talking to and to dispel any idea that I'm shaking in my boots 'cause I shot at a buzzard! And I loathe the people who tear up the countryside waisting precious fuel going around in circles in the 4 wheelers. NUFF SAID.

You could have easily shot and killed it with a good head shot and then moved it away from your house while wearing a pair of gloves. Even the cheap surgical gloves would have been fine. After you finished moving it you could have burned the gloves. Shooting an animal with the intent of letting it die a slow painful death is very cowardly in my opinion. Next time, MAN UP and kill the thing and move it.
