One thing you chickens did that made you laugh today...

My BO daffodil just chewed my brother out because he put her on a branch about 4 feet of the ground. after she *finally* got down, she followed him around sounding very disgruntled. XD

Going to try the mirror I had wondered how they would react to seeing themselves.

We also have a talker Gabby she goes on and on if she does not see green in her morning oatmeal. She actually will follow me in their yard clucking up a storm as she follows before she goes back in to have her breakfast. I don't let me be late because her sister will come and take a jab at me. Chickens are wonderfully entertaining.

Oh, it's so funny. XD I won't tell you the best part!

I have a talker as well!!!! Buttermilk is my my regal prissy chatterbox!! She squawks all morning and all night. I was giving them a waffle, and then I was gonna give them my brother's PB&J sandwhich that he didn't eat. It was a bit old (not to mention a bit stiff) and it wasn't very warm. Snap and Bisquick will try anything so they took a plunge. Well, Buttermilk took one look at it, and it didn't pass her approval. I was like 'C'mon, Buttermilk, give it a go.' She was as stubborn as a mule!! I could just see her saying it "Nooo, nooo. I will NOT eat that disgusting piece of old hard bread!! Not this hen!!' Oh Buttermilk. Gotta love her.

Gabby is also always the first one to stick her beak in the food bowl while I am serving. They were the recipients of my disastrous attempt at making sourdough bread. They pecked at it for a bit then decided that it was not for them and as is common here Gabby followed me to see what else might be on the menu. She gabbed all the way.

Gabby sounds like my Dandelion! She is always up there front and center, rushing to get something first. :p It is always funny when it is something wet/watery because she delves in gets her beak covered and sneezes. :p

Quote: Buttermilk is very regal. Will only eat her oatmeal hot, you have to hand feed her some foods, and she won't eat old foods. Only if it's been refrigerated.
Haha that is so funny! none of my chickens are that picky, but they don't like cabbage unless it is hung up in a head, glare at me when I give them lettuce, and only eat whole apples if I break the skin for them. :p

My girls have gotten used to me feeding them stink bugs every day that we have collected from the house. I usually just open the back door and feed them on the porch. Well, now they have associated the back door with food, so they come up and peck at the door like I'm going to open it and give them some food. It cracks me up every time.
