Okay, so technically not my kid, but my younger sister.
Just now:
Sister: "Eew! Yuk!" *puts food back in wrapper and hands it to Mum* "How do you EAT that stuff?"
Me: *looks up from BYC* "What is it?"
Sister: "Cheese!"
I guess I can understand it as she's spent most of her life lactose intolerant, but I was still expecting her to say something like, "carob", or "curry", or "beef jerky", or "dried spinach", or SOMETHING a little more disgusting than cheese.
And the other day...
Sister: "Argh! It's a chicken!"
Me: *looks around at the chicken coop we're in* "Um... yeah."
Sister: "Argh! It has a beak!"
Me: "Well, yes." *walks towards her*
Siser: *recoils in horror* "It's so big!"
Me: *sigh* *looks down at bantam in arms*
