Molly was pecking around yesterday morning. Eating and pooping normally. They were all chasing each other around, hopping and chest bumping as they do. Then after a little flight hop she dribbles a small stream of greenish (grass green) liquid out of her mouth.

She is a 9 week old Sapphire Gem.
Country Road Starter-Grower medicated crumble.
Clean water, food and bedding.
In a fresh run, lots of grass, clover and greenery to peck.
Has chick grit readily available.
Crop feels normal for a bird who just ate breakfast.

Watching for sour/impacted crop. What else should I be looking for? If it is an isolated incident should I treat anyway? Her posture is good and she seems happy.

This morning she is eating normally. Hanging out in the run so I can check on poop and watch behavior. So far acting normally. Crop feels like it is not hard, but not completely empty. First time chicken mom so really not 100% confident in what I am feeling regarding her crop.

Judging by the pictures and your description of the incident I don't think she has a problem. Just keep an eye on her and relax.

While others on here are much more educated in chicken medical health, I have seen this before as isolated incidents and have never had an issue with the hen/pullet. I have seen them "puke" on the roost, while running scared from an airplane (dumb), and one time on a very hot day. For the hot day one I did put her bottom in ice water and - while she hated it - she perked up and showed no more issues. I am just speaking from my experience, but I wouldn't worry unless you continue to see issues.

You said they run around and chest bump each other (so cute, lol), to me it kinda sounds like she had just eaten and then chest bumped someone and wha was in the crop came out. It happens when a chicken has just eaten / drank and something bumps / squeezes the crop. The only time the crop should be completely empty is first thing in the morning after not eating or drinking for a number of hours.

Yeah, they chest bump and charge each other. Then they run around with wings flapping. Its so fun to watch.
