One way door for a pigeon coop ?

This is partly due to the fact that chickens can not see in the dark. They do not have the ability to see and because their eyes are on either side of their head, they have poor depth perception which becomes worse with lower light levels.

I would not mind suggestions on converting or making a Pigeon Bob Wire trap door for a chicken coop. (is 9 inches too short for chickens to enter coop?)

It is called a bob door or a trap door. The bob type doors are made with "bobs," which are metal sticks that only allow entry and not exit. There are other designs, such as the sputnik, that are technically also a trap door, but I think most use a bob door.

You can either buy a pre-made bob door of varying sizes on most pigeon supply websites, or those websites also sell the individual bobs for construction of your own bob door as well. I would just buy the pre-made doors if I was you.

landing board act as a door to close off the trap. I forgot one night, yep coon use the trap door.

You and I share the exact same experience. I still beat myself up over it.
