Frost galloped closely behind Smoke as the headed quickly towards the Sun-soaked field

(Yay! )

Smoke slowed to a quick canter, saving his energy for the battle that was about to ensue.

(Valley)
Hinto trotted into camp, then up to the eagle towers. "Attention, herd" he neighed loudly. "Star light has been badly injured. She is at Eagle dive lake with Paytah, Hawk, Moon shine and Dark Night. She was attacked by coyotes, so be on the alert." H paused briefly, wondering if he should continue. "Any and all able horses, head to sun soak field to graze."
Misae ran up to Hinto and slammed into a skidding stop. "I heard mountain herd going NUTS this morning" she whispered, "it sounded like they were planning an attack" her eyes shone eagerly.
Hinto let his gaze rest on the pinto filly, then raised I over the herd again. "Be on high alert for anything" he whinnied, "especially you young stallions, keep a high watch"

(Mountain)~ Zitkala slowed to a graceful trot behind Smoke and Frost, her creamy mane streaming out behind her like a cloud of snow. Her keen eyes darted through the dips and curves of the valley that opened into Sun-Soak-Field. That's odd. No Valley Herd horses in sight.~
~Ivy pranced up silently beside her mother, her ears pinned for wars, listening for absolutely anything.~
~Macawi hung back from the racing attack patrol, but still there.~
~Hazel brought up the rear, keeping the raiding party in a tight, uniform bunch.~

(Mountain)~ Zitkala slowed to a graceful trot behind Smoke and Frost, her creamy mane streaming out behind her like a cloud of snow. Her keen eyes darted through the dips and curves of the valley that opened into Sun-Soak-Field. That's odd. No Valley Herd horses in sight.~
~Ivy pranced up silently beside her mother, her ears pinned for wars, listening for absolutely anything.~
~Macawi hung back from the racing attack patrol, but still there.~
~Hazel brought up the rear, keeping the raiding party in a tight, uniform bunch.~

"I don't want any trace of us there" he turned back and trotted a few lengths away from the treeline and settled down. "Spread out along the treeline, but stay back" he snorted.

Hinto motioned for Misae to stay by his side, and began to lead the horses out of camp, down the well worn path to sun soak field.

"I don't want any trace of us there" he turned back and trotted a few lengths away from the treeline and settled down. "Spread out along the treeline, but stay back" he snorted.

Hinto motioned for Misae to stay by his side, and began to lead the horses out of camp, down the well worn path to sun soak field.

Frost gives a simple nod before walking swiftly towards the treeline, she settled a bit deep into the treeline to wait patiently

~Macawi gave a low snort of satisfaction as she dissipated into the shadows. This is more like it. A guile attack.~
~Hazel weaved her way between two pine trees and rested her head over a branch to observe the valley.~
~Ivy expertly veiled herself behind the trees.~
