Ongoing Brahma Projects Thread

Thought I would post some shots of some of my Brahma projects. The blue laced reds seem to be considerably less broody than my silver laced who are dropping like flies, seems like every day there are more SL hens "clucking" on or near the nest boxes. The blue laced reds are still laying well, and tend to lay a darker egg as well.

The blue laced reds.

A couple of the males, they had just been run around and handled, they are a little out of sorts, their wings lay tight and proper.

The third male, a darker blue, with the splash male in the backround.

I am putting those on my wish list, I really want to get some Brahma's in the future and those just moved right to #1 on my list.

I will first thank Dan Powell for my foundation stock of Buff, Silver and Gold Laced Brahmas. My group is from early May, here are a few photos and I am looking forward to learning and working on helping further the project. Is there anyone near Texas working on this? I have quite a few too many roos...

Big Medecine, between you and Dan Powell, you guys have really done amazing things with Brahmas, I am in awe, everytime I see your birds. I am looking foward to the time when i have the space to work with genetics as you do. When I am ready, I hope i can convince you to sell me some silver laced as well as these beautiful blue laced reds. Thanks as always for the great pics.

This is what I am getting, second generation, with my blue partridge Brahmas. I'm not sure where to go with this, but I think they are beautiful!
