Would still like pics if you have any, and what color coturnix do you have? I wouldn't want bobs, too much trouble

i have golden and brown courtnix , and texas a&m , and the buttons i bought from someone since im waiting for my grown buttons to be shipped to me , otherwise i would show you the pics of the buttons but they others i can get pics for you , i dont have bob whites YET , but the neighbor does and im going to get a few from them since i like their sound they make , idk y i even got the button eggs since i cant eat buttons lol i will probally let them loose in the backyard if i end up with a bunch of them and they can eat bugs and keep the others in their coop ...... i myself am new to quail so im still learning the proper colorfications and such .... shelly what are the room requirements for quail , im asking you since your like one of the biggest quail guroos i know of lol not meaning that in a bad way

Coturnix supposedly need 1 sq. ft. per bird, but I've had mine in as little as 1/2 sq ft. per and they got along fine. Buttons are supposed to have the equivalent to a 10 gallon fish tank at least for a pair (male/female, 2 females or 2 males), but I also have mine in less roomy quarters. I will say though that the buttons do have feather problems, they need more room than they have. I'm working on it, but it's not quite there yet. I also have too many males in my pens, but they are just so cute, I can't kill them

No one in my area wants them, so I'm kinda stuck. Of course if I hatch them, I always end up with more males than females, so I'm still in the same boat regardless of what I do. You can keep males only together if they haven't been with females and have been raised together, but this wouldn't work for me. I'll figure it out eventually

I will say though that the a lot of the buttons pictured are very nicely marked, so it can be difficult to determine what colors you have. Also, if the colors are crossed (i.e.-silver redbreast, golden redbreast, etc) it is hard to tell for sure what colors they are.

Shay20 the current offer is for button quail. If you want those post I will take the buttons and offer.... The pheasants are no longer the current offer so keep your eyes out.



So if you want the Buttons and offer your frizzle polish your polish would then be the offer on the board. Once someone picked those their offer...etc.
