I always thought the way they started the Sizzles was to cross a Frizzle cochin with silkies??

I bought some sizzle eggs from Pamperedpoultry twice and I kept the girls and put a silkie roo with them. So the hens came from her line. The older ones that are laying are white with a black spot or two on each hen and the younger ones are blue. I have a black one that came from the white hens and and different roo and the youngest one hatched on Christmas. I"m not sure what color she would be called but I say she's a gray. Only the white hens are laying. So what ever lineage those are that came from pamperedpoultry is what they are. I thought they where frizzled silkies. I've never tried to mix a silkie with a frizzle to produce a sizzle. I purchased the already mixed eggs and just put a silkie roo with them. If that makes any sense. One of the sizzles decided she wanted to go broody yesterday so I may not have any eggs to swap. A snake stole some silkie eggs and the hens where up and roaming around so I may be back with some silkie eggs.

I'll just keep watching the thread and if I have silkie eggs to swap and see something I'm interested in i'll make an offer.
