online hatcheries with low minimums?

OK, I'll up the ante.... I'm looking to add 3-4 chicks, but I'd like 4 different breeds - any idea if THAT is a possibility anywhere? So I don't want 4 BOs.... but I'd like a BO, RIR, etc.

And minor vent here - I am sooooo over not being able to get more chickens. You'd think I was trying to acquire weapons grade plutonium at this point! All the 'local' swaps are about 2 hours away and there's nothing on CL and I can't find a minimum order from a hatchery where I get to pick the chicken breeds I want. Hmph.

California Hatchery lets you mix breeds and their minimum is 3. Shipping is a TON though and I not sure if I would reccomend a cross country trip for the chicks in this heat -- sorry to hear CL has slim pickings-- it might be more fruitful if you look at CL in other cities/areas that are still driveable)100 miles away etc-- that tends to help alittle....

California Hatchery has a 3 chick minimum-- I am not sure what the going rate is for shipping at other sites, but its alot more than the price of the chick-- I got 15 chicks (free shipping for 15) yesterday they are great. This Hatchery communicates by email not great PR, but they are efficient and responsive thru email. Also its a real Hatchery not a broker like some of the other sites (that contract out to other places to actually supply the bird)...
