Why don't you just measure 25ft from the run, and then stand that far away with a pile of mealworms at you feet. Then let hem out, and the first chicken to your feet can be the one you enter!

This looks fun! I will probably have to wait for the snow to stop before I attempt this though. I just had to lock my duckling in the coop because her baby fluff was freezing into clumps.
