So far since Thanksgiving, I only find 1 egg daily. They’re 4 months old. Mix of Italian, JB and Caledon.
I have a 8x10 outdoor coop. The male/female ratio is currently is 2:10. I have enough light and calcium. I just wanted some additional feedback.

That's normal if they're 4 months old. You might only have one hen laying. Average chickens don't start laying until they're 5-6 months old, so, just give them some time. :)

@Lacy Duckwing These are quail. They normally start laying around 6-8 weeks.

@KatsPlace It's normal for them to not lay much during the winter unless you're providing them with extra light. They need 14-16 hours of light to lay.

They will also not lay if there are other stresses in their lives such as too many roos to hens (should be 1 roo to 3-5 hens), predators, or a change in their environment.

I think patience is all I needed because I found 2 tonight. My second layer was sitting on it when I came in.
