Fall and Autumn are the same season - leaves fall from trees often after turning really great colors - orange, yellow, reds, even purples, and the normal brown. Together it's all very pretty.
It goes in an order.
Winter - leaves have fallen already, many places here snow or very very cold, some places far to the South have very little winter weather.
Spring is when things thaw out and begin to grow again, there are spectacular new clean green colors everywhere and planted bulb flowers bloom early and look neat in many places. I love spring in Tennessee best.
Summer is hot, some places North don't get very hot, but many places in the South West and Middle of the country and south East get very hot, or very hot and humid.
Fall/Autumn is when the weather once again gets cooler and the leaves on trees turn color and fall off as they go dormant for the approaching winter. It's very pretty.
I've lived in mountains in snow. I do not miss shoveling snow, or ice to slip and fall on. We get a teeny tiny bit of snow over winter here, but it melts off in a day or two, at most four. I like that kind of snow. Pretty for a few days then gone.
I wish you could see Fall and Winter somewhere - they're very pretty and interesting.
If you are interested in US History - my two favorite historical figures are Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. I'll see if I can find some good revolution history sites for you to visit. My friend Laura is a history major.
