Sorry I don't have a picture the little guy won't stand still but both his back legs have about a 1 inch scab on both of them, none of my other 14 birds seem to have this problem. It's already healed quite a bit but I just can't seem to figure out how it happened.
I can't find any blood in the coop and I'm not sure what could've gotten just the back of his legs and not any other chicken. Its not getting worse either so whatever happened hasn't again.
17 weeks old, no other odd behavior/wounds.
I'm keeping an eye on his legs to make sure they don't get worse/infected.
My guess is my trouble rooster may have started fighting him? But just the back of his legs? I'm so confused.
I will try and get a picture but no promises.

Odd. Pictures would definitely help, but I do think it's just a random injury. Just keep doing as you have been

Are his spurs torn off? It would be good to see. Picture if you get one tomorrow. I would separate him in a crate with food and water for his protection. . Roosters will fight especially after the junior one matures and possibly challenges him. You could spray his wounds with Vetericyn or apply some antibiotic ointment.

No, he doesn't have them yet and there is no older rooster, I checked him this morning and his legs seem to be healed. It wasn't deep wounds like maybe just his scales got scraped off?
