Hello friends,
I am asking for my parents who are looking at getting their first peafowl. They know a farmer two has 3 males that he’s willing to sell, but no females at this time. My parents currently have a flock of ducks and a couple of chickens on their farm. They’re wondering if multiple males without females are a bad idea?
TIA!!

I’m Not sure about peafowl, but with chickens there’s generally minimal/no fighting between males if there are no females present. could you ask the farmer if they plan on getting peahens at any point in the near future? And could you head down to the farm to see how the three males are currently housed (together, physically separated with fence or solid barrier they can’t see each other through, etc.)
