so i have 5 barred rock girls and have just begun to lay. since Monday, I've only found two eggs, one on monday and one yesterday...why aren't they all laying at the same time? they are all the same age. They are very aggressive aswell, is that normal?
One pecked me so hard this morning while i was filing the water that she drew blood...no wonder im scared to go near them.

    any suggestions would be great!

Like human women, not all chickens start ovulating at the same age. Nor will they be consistant for a month or so. For being aggressive, maybe they decided you were tasty or had a hair on your hand that looked like food? Try using gloves or giving them a "peck" when they peck you.
