My left-handed grandmother tried to teach me how to crochet (I'm right-handed). I learned how to make a chain. The end. That's my crocheting story.

@TwoCrows , the gifts are very nice, love both of those hats…why do the commercial folks only make the cute ones for children?

I love knitting, but still a novice. Have done crochet - but find the directions on anything cute too difficult to follow.
