Yay!!! Congratulations! They're beautiful!Finally!!
I have 3 Onyx Olive eggers (as they were labeled at my local feed store who uses Ideal hatchery). I started finding these eggs a few days ago. Today I finally saw one of them in the nesting box. I'm guessing at least two of them laid these, but I don't know yet. Love them!
Hi! They do have crests which narrows it down but they don't have the five toes, black skin, or blue earlobes of a silkie. They also don't have the pea comb of a typical Easter egger. The eggs would be much lighter with that mix.I really suspect that this is a black silkie with an egger/ameraucana mix...any ideas on it being those two breeds?
