Ive been wanting a broody hen for months, I just adopted another 6 hens so I gave up on wanting a broody hen because I wouldnt have the space for her, Guess what surprise surprise . One of my wyandottes has decided she wants to be a mum and taken up half of the shared nest box.
I have let her sit on some eggs and let her do her thing seeing how I had wanted one for so long, She has 4 Chicken eggs and 4 duck eggs under her now and has been sat for 4 days, doing well so lets hope she can do the full 20 odd days to hatch them all for me
