Oooh look what I found! Think this will work?

Those are both so cute! I didn't notice they were diff at first. It looks like the Bellamy has some kind of vent at the top. I almost bought a prefab building for my coop, b/c my husband was working so much and I didn't think he would have time to build one. We looked at Lowe's and Home Depot. We almost one from lowe's, but it wasn't in stock, so hubby just plunged in and built me one. Let us know what you decide.

Smitty, believe me if my husband was handy I'd have him build me one too! You are very lucky.

I am lucky. I am very grateful, but he was so busy with his job I didn't know when he would find the time to do it. My daughter and I started searching this past spring, trying to take the burden off him. Actually we still have a lot of odds and ends that need to be finished, but no time. I want to add to the flock this spring and I know he will just kill me about wanting to add space. I love the barn shaped tuff sheds. Did you decide on one yet?

skatcatla - I saw that your original posting referred to the Medford OR Lowes. Are you near Medford? If so, please look at the Craigslist posting I made earlier today in the "for sale" section https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=22889

Not
sure if you specifically want something tiny, or just looking at the budget, but that coop in K/Falls looks like an awesome deal.

ON EDIT:
Oops - I guess the Medford is only because it remembers me, and I thought that store ID related to your selection. Also, just saw your post about So. Cal. Oh well...

Scatcatla... This one IS the My Own Playhouse... Upon further investigation, I saw the difference. This one is of good quality exterior siding. 2x2 frame construction. There is no glass or plexi in the windows though. That would be something you'd have to add. The lap board siding used for the roof is about 1/2" thick at the thickest and 1/4 at the thinnest. But where they join it's still about 1/2 inch thick. Solid construction. I actually like the bellamy better...no painting...lol But as before....not available here in my area. I did however purchase 2 10x10x10high Ranier Buildings from my store for 1000 dollars. (!/2 off each slight damage...nothing I cant fix...lol) It could be a good idea to check with the stores and see if they have any damaged buildings they want to sell. Sometimes you can get a really good deal! Ours usually go for 1/2 price.....

Oh my! I have to have it but my dh will kill me! And my 4 year old too! That would be the perfect Bantam Barn-
surely I can build a run. I could put that in the front yard. I can build solid, but definately not esthetique, and the husband is never home, sooo, guess I know what I'm gonna buy with my 1st paycheck. Guess I'll just polyurethane it so I can hose it down!
